We are now approximately 1 month into the use of our new and improved website. Registration has not proceeded as quickly as I might have anticipated. While we had approximately 220 registered members on the old site, to date we only have 50 registered on the new site. If you are in regular contact with someone who has not registered, get after them and encourage them to register. A couple of other things to be aware of: Some have noticed a message upon signing on that indicates page cannot be found (even though it does load). I found through my own experience that this is caused by the fact that I had previously bookmarked the old site. While our domain name did not change, when you entered www.phisigdelta.com on the old site, it actually took you to a page that was www.phisigdelta.com/news.php, which was our old “home” page and showed posted news. If you use that bookmark, the search engine looks for that no longer in existence page. Simply delete the bookmark, retype our domain name and then bookmark the new site. Another thing that I noticed is that not all of your information transferred to the new site. Specifically, I noted that while your street address moved to the new site, things like city and state did not. I encourage you to look at your profile and check it for accuracy and add/delete whatever information you choose.
